Podczas eksploracji podziemi przy ulicy Czeskiej, sonda umieszczona przed fasad\u0105 dawnej perfumerii Convalaria odkry\u0142a niewielk\u0105 \u015bredniowieczn\u0105 piwnic\u0119 z korytarzem wej\u015bciowym. Na glinianej pod\u0142odze, po\u015brodku pomieszczenia pod warstw\u0105 gliny znaleziono ma\u0142\u0105 studni\u0119 z ceglanym murem. Korpus studni zawiera\u0142 nawet urz\u0105dzenie do pompowania studni, kt\u00f3re wci\u0105\u017c by\u0142o do\u015b\u0107 dobrze zachowane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Odkryta p\u00f3\u017anogotycka piwnica zosta\u0142a zbudowana w drugiej po\u0142owie XV wieku. Stosunkowo niewielki budynek wykonany jest z kamienia i mieszanego muru i jest sklepiony ceglanym \u0142ukiem. Znajduje si\u0119 nieca\u0142e dwa metry poni\u017cej poziomu ulicy, pomi\u0119dzy dwoma drzewami, bezpo\u015brednio przed szklan\u0105 witryn\u0105 obecnej kawiarni. Przej\u015bcie do piwnicy od strony po\u0142udniowej by\u0142o prawdopodobnie wcze\u015bniej po\u0142\u0105czone z inn\u0105 piwnic\u0105, kt\u00f3ra znikn\u0119\u0142a wraz z budow\u0105 obecnego domu. Piwnica by\u0142a prawdopodobnie wykorzystywana jako pomieszczenie magazynowe, a p\u00f3\u017aniej jako dost\u0119p do studni. Ta ostatnia jest bardzo szczeg\u00f3lna. Ma oko\u0142o 4 m g\u0142\u0119boko\u015bci od poziomu ceglanej posadzki i jest nadal czynna. Interesuj\u0105ca jest jej drewniana konstrukcja, kt\u00f3ra zosta\u0142a wykonana z ceg\u0142y, dach\u00f3wki i kamienia. Jej metrowa \u015brednica zmienia si\u0119 z okr\u0105g\u0142ej na kwadratow\u0105 i z powrotem na okr\u0105g\u0142\u0105, gdy staje si\u0119 g\u0142\u0119bsza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Odkryta piwnica nie mog\u0142a by\u0107 po\u0142\u0105czona z istniej\u0105cym budynkiem, wi\u0119c wej\u015bcie zosta\u0142o zbudowane po przeciwnej stronie. W g\u0142owicy gotyckiego muru wykonano sklepiony otw\u00f3r, kt\u00f3ry po\u0142\u0105czono z nowo powsta\u0142ym szybem wej\u015bciowym. Studni\u0119 wyposa\u017cono w krat\u0119, a znalezion\u0105 pomp\u0119 archeolodzy przekazali do Muzeum Techniki. Dzi\u015b do piwnicy mo\u017cna wej\u015b\u0107 jedynie przez \u017celiwny w\u0142az osadzony w chodniku.
