In order to get some money, they started robbing the inhabitants of villages and towns, and this did not please Empress Maria Theresa.<\/p>\n
She liked Trenck too, but the law was the law. She issued a warrant for the baron's arrest, and then it was a rush. When he stood trial, he was sentenced to death for all the thefts and murders. I cried and begged. In the end, Baron Trenck was spared. Instead of being executed, he ended up in the prison at \u0160pilberk, where he was to remain for the rest of his life. But there's an escape from every prison.<\/p>\n
